What instrument can I use as an alternative to the violin in my church?

I love the way the violin sounds during worship session in the church. But unfortunately we do not have a violin or a violin layer in our church. Is there a smooth alternative we can use?

The violin is a stringed musical instrument that plays underneath or acts as a foundation to all other musical instrument in many worship songs. It is one vital stringed musical instrument that gives gives an atmosphere of worship to worshipers.

It’s not very popular in Nigerian churches, but if you listen very well, you would hear the violin in their worship songs.

Then how do they come about it?

Many electronic keyboards today have hundreds of unique voices. Among-st these unique voices there are various violin violin voices. All they have to do is select the violin voice and play.

This is the reason why in some churches, you would find about two or three electronic keyboards or even more.

One pianist might just play with the grand piano voice; the other will play with the violin voice while the third one will play with another required voicing.

So, you do not need to have a violinist before you can have the sound of a violin in your church. All you need is just one electronic keyboard and you are good to go.
